Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following intrepid filmmaker Kip Andersen as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it.
Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, water consumption and pollution, is responsible for more greenhouse gasses than the transportation industry, and is a primary driver of rainforest destruction, species extinction, habitat loss, topsoil erosion, ocean “dead zones,” and virtually every other environmental ill. Yet it goes on, almost entirely unchallenged. http://www.cowspiracy.com/

But it ends on a message of hope: showing how the risks to our survival can easily be averted through sustainable approaches that provide far more employment than the current ‘waste industry’.

“The Tiny House Movement is about reevaluating what we have, what we want, what we need, what we love – what we want to do with our lives.” – Lina Menard
If you don´t know, I love tiny houses. I watched so many documentaries about them that I just had to build one with my friends. Living Small explores the world of tiny houses through the lives of the people on the movement’s forefront. The film centers on Anderson Page as he builds a tiny house for the first time, discovering the challenges and rewards of constructing one’s own living space.
There are so many great documentaries out there. Some of them can be found right here.
